I figured it was best to sell it now before it started to look shabby again standing out so much over the winter. Mot was due soon and rear tyre.

Got 2500 for it which was quite good since I have had it a year and done 8000 miles, basically I have a years use out of it done some touring and its cost me about £50. Will look for another maybe early next year.

I'll be in the market for a BIG treat in 48 weeks and that may be motorcycle related ! It seems like a good time to part with the Versys, what with the dark/rain/cold/ice/snow/hail etc that is coming our way ! confuse

Paul are you thinking of getting a bike with some mild off road ability ie fire track / trails or would the versus do that?

Versys would be a tad heavy I think and tyre choice would be limited plus alloys and potholes don't mix well. Might consider a dual purpose bike but not keen on riding singles long distance. All depends on what the plan is next year.

I have a plan. When the Plymouth to Santander ferry starts running in mid March 2014 I will book a spot and take either the Tdm or some other bike and ride down through Spain. I will stop in Duenas in Castille to eat an excellent Lamb Roast. Then I will ride on someway and somehow to Seville. Then I have no agenda but fancy Sierras and the coast road back to Barcelona. Then Andorra then into Frency territory .... Alors il n y a pas plus projet mais j'espere une ephinanie suivant .......
