So I re taxed the KLE500 yesterday and thought I would give it a short outing just to blow the cobwebs away.
Got almost out of the village and throttle cable snaps.
Oh well, managed to limp back home with the choke on fast idle and ordered both throttle cables and a clutch cable as well from Wemoto. Surprising how much they stock for the old KLE's and for £33 including the delivery not too expensive either.

The ironic thing was I had been thinking about ordering a clutch cable and throttle pull cable as spares for travelling about. I have had two throttle cables go and two clutch cables go on various other bikes.
Aside the obvious punctures they are the most common things to breakdown with on a bike.
