Okay.  Just rang the Naz we're all booked in for 8.30pm.  Should give everyone time to get to the pub firstwink

As long as there's no more than 12 they have room. What pub are we meeting in?

Railway is closest for those on the train or there is a newly refurbished bar in east Street that does real ales or if there's anyone who never been to the Cider Bar we could break their duck.

Should be okay to make an appearance but will be driving so no drinking for me. All depends on what is happening elsewhere as I may have to make a trip up country at short notice.

We're only going to Newton Abbot! although I've heard the eternal phrase "I'm going outside, I may be some time" uttered more than once during past visits to the cider bar by people I've never seen again.

You'll be playing a dangerous game if you try that after a good curry.  Better takes some wet wipes in case you misjudge the gaseous / sloppybot threshold.

I hear that Cider counteracts any such loss of control caused by curry intake.

Is the rendez-vous Railway Inn or Cider bar?

My vote is Railway Inn as cider eats colons but happy to go with the flow (metaphorically).

I'd go for the Railway too in case we get a repeat of the excellent entertainment from the misguided "singer"

I've roped in Mr DR Jason Searle.  Will there be enough seats to go round?  I'm working in Bristol tomorrow so will pick him up on the way and see you all at Naz at 20:31.

Tim- you'll be fine bringing your"friend" along as we can have 12 max and if all turn up it'll be 11. . . Plus Clayton makes 12 if he's in.

It was terrible, we all had to eat curry and drink beer. You would have hated it.

Me and my mate Yan went onto the Jolly Farmer and caught the tail end of the Blue Brothers tribute act and then into bar 7, got back at about 1.30am

Ironically, I was parked up outside the Railway Inn at 8pm . I had to pick up the sprog from the station (train was late) and then on to a pub in Manaton for wife's birthday dinner.

How did it go with you lot

As much as he ever could.

Great food, good beer, good to catch up with folk. Went on to the Golden Lion - place nearly emptied when Lisa walked in to get me with the dog going hyper, with sounds of "hide the dope" all around.

Never did see SuperC after that......confuse

The term hide the dope may have been lost in context but he was found much later hiding under a larger ladies dress.

All very droll but I seem to recall I was Victor Mature all evening and virtually all of the nonsense stemmed from that buffoon Rodders.
