I was searching Facebook for an old bsa bantam which I want to get and this ad for Nomud popped up it said 600 nickers 3 day's riding including accommodation and all you can eat Romanian buffet,
beers not included.
Sergio must be late 70's now, there were a couple of expat Scots Dougie (Romaniacs race director) and Stevie Palmer who ran the tours but it looks like that may have changed. The airport transfer is about two and a half hours and the nearest hospital is the same (don't ask how I know).
If we were to go again, I'd consider one of the Sibiu based enduro tour companies when Romaniacs is on and enjoy a few extra days in Sibiu as I don't recall much night life in Brebu Nou. the benefit of Sibiu is the airport transfer is 15 minutes.
Nice one Snaff 👍 it looks like a cracking deal and somewhere completely new for me so I'm in.
Could be a good chuckle let's aim for it next summer.
So far it's me and Sam.
As an incentive the first roll in the hay with a chubby hooker is on me.
I went on a four-day trip with Nomud in September with a few mates and had an amazing time. They are a really good outfit run by Adrian who is based in Timisoara. His bikes are kept in great condition and the trails you can ride on up in the mountains are insane - more importantly they cater for all sorts of abilities so they have something for everyone. Let me know if you want to know any more. If you're on Instagram, follow them and you'll get a feel for what they ride
